The Houston Chapter is distinguished as one of UTNAA's
Gold Medal Award winners recognizing our accomplishments during the past year. Congratulations for an outstanding effort. The Houston Chapter
also won the award in 2004 and 2005.

Houston Astros manager Phil Garner and second baseman
Chris Burke are two of a growing number of former Vols in the major leagues. Garner, hired as manager in 2004, was
a two-time All-SEC performer for the Vols and a former Astros infielder from 1981-87. Burke was the SEC Player of the Year
in 2001 and a two-time All-American in 2000 and 2001.

College Night Program
Volunteer
for annual community event
Local high schools dedicate
one night each fall when universities are invited to setup a booth and promote themselves. The UT National Alumni Association
provides the Houston Chapter with great brochures and marketing materials. We just need the VOLunteers to help staff a booth
at their local high school.

Do you know someone UT should recruit? Anyone interested in a student
can use this form to alert the admissions office that will send a personalized letter to the student saying they have been recommended and
inviting the student to visit the campus and to apply for admission.

The Houston Chapter logo is available from Lands' End custom embroidery service. Two ways to get great looking apparel:
Individual Orders: Call Lands' End at
1-800-587-1541 and order your articles. Use the Houston Alumni Chapter logo number 0445028. The $11.00 embroidery
fee per garment is cut to half ($5.50) when making group orders (at least six items).
